Food Network Star (Rant)

I watched Food Network Star and I am pleased with the Top 3 and would be happy with Jeff, Susie or Vic winning. 

What I'm not happy with Food Network bringing back Penny and then for her to try and sabotage MaryBeth was just bad form.  I find Penny a very vile mean woman and would never watch a show she was on.  The judges did see what she was up to and I hope that sealed her fate.  

As for The Network Star I don't think I will be watching next season.  I don't like the way they have them jump through hoops who could cook under those conditions. All the chefs that have shows have time to plan their menus.  None of the Food Network Stars are not being thrown on the set and opening the fridge and trying to figure out what they are going to fix.  Once it starts getting mean and nasty I loose interest.  In fact, I do not watch any other Food Network reality show.  I'm there for the cooking not for the Food Trucks,  Extreme Chefs or the Live Audience shows then the Chefs are "on" and it just becomes annoying.  Bring back the cooking and have them stop touching their hair if they are not going to pull it back put on a hair net.  Gross! Okay I'm off my soapbox.

Today we spotted a deer close to our house with it's fawn.  First baby we have seen.  Most of the deer go up the mountain during the summer so this was very exciting to see these two.

Bill, Anna and I took Olive down to the high school and we walked the track.  It was so cute watching Olive run to catch up.  She has a funny gate right now and snorts when she runs.   She walked 3/4 of a mile before we picked her up and carried her the rest of the way.
