At the end of our driveway is the sheep trail and the sheep pen. Each summer they herd the sheep up the mountain to graze. In the fall they bring them back down mountain for the winter. It has been very busy this week. Not only were there sheep but some cows too. The cowboys even left their horses to rest before making the trip the rest of the way up the mountain.
They get an early start taking the animals up the mountain. I woke up before 6am to the sounds of mooing cows. Another reason I love it here.
